Yes. Our Advanced Diploma of Laser and Beauty Diploma courses in Sydney are nationally accredited. This is important because:
- Non accredited courses can teach you what they like, as they do not need to adhere to the National Standard.
- Only accredited qualifications allow you to be paid the correct award rate.
- Insurance companies require accredited certificates before offering coverage.
- Accreditation ensures your training is recognised across Australia.
We keep our classes small – usually less than 6 students per session. Other schools may have up to 20 students per class, which slows down individual progress. Because we work one-on-one with you from start to finish, you achieve competency faster without unnecessary extra hours. The student ratio affects the amount of contact hours with the teacher you receive. E.g.: 60 minutes divided over 20 students = 3 minutes you will have with the teacher in that hour if you’re lucky. 60 minutes divided by 5 = 12 minutes as the minimum time you will have with the teacher in a small class.
If you already have skills and experience in Advanced Dermal Skin, Laser or Beauty but do not hold a formal qualification, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) could help you gain a nationally recognised certificate without repeating training. Contact BeautyPlus Academy to discuss your situation.
